I’ve been hurt so very deep,
By the one who once made my heart complete.

He left his scars, they do not show,
Imprinted deep within my soul.

So forgive me friend, if i get scared,
But my emotions are still under repair.

I work on this heartbreak everyday,
Slowly the damage if lifting away.

If you’ve ever been here
I know you’ll understand,
That what i need right now
Is you to take my hand,

You to take my hand
And walk with me today,
And all I need to hear,
Is to hear you say...

“I’ll never leave
And that’s a fact,
I’m always here,
I’ve got your back”
