God I need a rock
to stand on in
this fluid world.

I need a floor
which does not
waver in this
trembling world.

I need a way
so as not to
get lost in this
devastated world.

I need a stick
to keep me in
this dangerous world.

I need someone,
who will not let me
down in this
deceptive world.

God, be my rock,
be my solid ground,
bemy way and stick,

now and all the
days of my life.
