I Must Come Across As A Horrible Man Poem by Francis Duggan

I Must Come Across As A Horrible Man

Rating: 5.0

Though to hurt others feelings is never in my plan
I must come across as a horrible man
Do not give online comments or expect none as well
The poets write their poetry I pen doggerel.

I do not like those who do put others down
As mere stepping stones in their climb for renown
On their own shortcomings they would do best to dwell
The judgemental and opinionated they can go to hell.

What is it with most humans with each other we compete
To be best in the neighbourhood and best on the street
Oh give me the down to earth woman or man
Kind in their ways they try to live good as they can.

If you do not like certain people that is quite okay
But never belittle them in any way
In our own small ways we can be very small
I will drink to the truth in a fair go for all.

I am not liked by many and to many not known
And I do have my flaws but my flaws are my own
To my higher self I struggle to be true
But I try to give credit to where credit is due.
