I Miss You Mother Poem by Kenneth Maswabi

I Miss You Mother

Once again
I am thinking of you
It has been so many years
Since we parted
I was a teenager then
And all my tears were young
I remember all of them
As they washed my face
I missed you then
And I miss you now
You gave me all of your love
And I am still holding onto it today
I have always believed
That your life
Even though it was short
Was full of blessings
And every day I look up to you
I pray to God
That one day
I will meet you again
