I Met With Jesus Today
I met with Jesus today
Broke bread and took time to pray
Poured the wine into a cup
Breathed a sigh and drank it up
As His body was broken
Deep words of love were spoken
For He hung there on the tree
and laid down His life for me.
Tears welled up as I sat there
Thinking of His love and care
How much He must have loved me
to die that I might go free.
