I'M So Enchanted To See You Smile Poem by Michael Reston

I'M So Enchanted To See You Smile

I'm so enchanted to see you smile
Never have I been so gay
I could stay here for the longest while
You are enthralling my slightest sway

I've been in love before tonight
But darling you're so much more than right
Even if I can't see the light
You must have second sight
And I do love you

Dancing in the moonlight
Floating on a summer's breeze
Lost amid a sea of trees
Dancing in the moonlight

Breathing in the night's fresh air
Dreams of loves that once were there
I don't even have a care
Dancing in the moonlight

Never do I ever want to hear
another word About
the when's or why's or whether's
That all sounds so much absurd

And if you choose to stay forever
In this carnival of light
I'll know you're mine Divinely chosen
And the reason is so right -I know you're there

Dancing in the moonlight
Only lost among the stars
I could love with all my heart
Dancing in the moonlight
