I`m Okay Poem by Broken Nd Alone

Once upon a time there was a girl,
in her early years she had to learn.
How to grow up with men thinkin they can do wat they want,
she never knew where to turn for love.
It hurt me to feel the pain you culd give,
every time ur fist put me in my place.
Everytime after it happend I`d sit down and cry,
praying it would be over soon.
Bruises fade but the pain remains the same,
and i still remember how you kept me so afraid.
Strength is myself for all the love i gave,
and every mornin I`d wake and look bk at yesterday and I`m okay.
I often wonder why i carry all this guilt,
when it was you who helped me put up all these walls I`ve built.
Shadows stir at night as she dreams,
echo`s of a broken girl screamin plz no more.
Don`t you understand the damage you`ve done? ,
for you it`s just a memory but for me the pain lives on.
It`s not easy to forget all the marks you left on me,
when i was pushed against the wall.
And every day afraid to see you,
in fear of wat you mite do next!
