I'M Not A Racist. I'Ve Just Happened To Notice That Them Coloreds Want My Woman...And All My Money Too. Poem by Jonny Brackney

in the shadows

yellow eyes
and teeth
black face-mask
couldn't cover the
hatred

an old switch blade
couldn't quite
hide the fear

couldn't hide the ugly
or that nasty broken
tooth

you could
disappear

hell!
die and rot!

nobody'd care
or
remember
