Melting away from all earthly sentiments
Leaning onto promises that seem as abstract as the smoke
That once came out of the flame of a dying passion.

As lit as desire in a hero` s heart
As virgin as innocence in new comers
As shiny as the serpent` s new costume
Your love purged the darkened torches of my shrinking soul
Colouring green all the greys of hope
And polishing the rusty sword that once orned my socket
Making me a knight once more.

Though as dark as a future with no hope of present it is
My love for her sculpted my reason for loving her more.

Taken by her wings to brighter horizons
Where deception wieghs as much as a droplet of water
In a sea of uncertainty that`s created by my tears of love
That just like a river, can only flow towards her celestial smile
Unlike my eyes, my heart took no account of altitude
Because just like my fears, my love flew with
The unshackled melody of her wings as high as the echos of the righteous` prayers

As tall as Goliath in David` s heart
As pure as the laughter of a being with celestial hope
As bright as as angelic smile
You have illuminated the myth that`s love
By giving breath to hope that once was a taboo

You made loving that once was a sin right
Turned satisfaction that once was a fairy tale into reality
And falling love that used to be a nightmare
Into a tangible dream that has weaved your love in my heart
Into a relief that surrenders to no rain

Though the benefit be unknown
The cost is that I`m in love with an angel.
