I Love You So Dearly Poem by Peter S. Quinn

I Love You So Dearly

I love you so dearly,
For you are life,
In my seasons yearly,
As freshness arrive.
I love you so much,
My moments you fulfil,
The soil that I touch,
Everything until
The day that I die;
And become of you,
Like clouds in the sky,
I'll become you too,
I love you so dearly.
Mother oh mother,
Love me as clearly.
Brother oh brother,
For we are the same
Of nature and all;
Bright burning flame,
Till seasonal fall.
