I Love You Poem by Serena Blackinton

I Love You

I want you to know, baby, that I love you with all my heart,
And you're always with me, even when we're far apart,
I thought I should tell you I'm happy with you just as you are:
In your room, at the house, or even just sitting in my car.
You mean the world to me, honey, and I thought you should know,
Just take my hand and lead the way, and I will happily go,
I'll do anything to see you with that gorgeous smile,
So pull up a chair, have a drink, and maybe stay a while.
I will love you always darl, even when I'm dead and burned,
And thank you for teaching me the lessons I have learned.
I'll hold you close to me in the darkest nights,
And love you endlessly, even through our worst fights.
I want to say thank you for the faith you have in me,
And thank you for making me a part of your destiny,
Thank you for your kind words and your cheeky grin,
And thank you for taking the time to let me in.
I love you, baby, I just wanted you to know:
I love you today, yesterday and every tomorrow,
Always when I think of you I'll break out in a smile
Happy knowing that you were mine for a little while.
