I loved you when you
first came into my life
when we discovered the depth
of our new found friendship.

I love you even more
when obstacles sought to destroy
the fabric of our love and friendship
when the seed of discord was planted.

I love you much more
as we’ve grown in wisdom
and weigh our actions carefully
and learn from our mistakes.

I love you even deeper
than the depth of the ocean
even as vast as the firmament
is ever covering the universe.

I love you in my sadness
when my heart is racked with pain
and my soul aches for relief
and you know my pain even afar.

I will love you even more
when my life on earth is no more
and the memories of our joy togther
are ever floating in the sky.

My love for you is renewed
each day, with each morning glow.
My love for you is not subject
to changing seasons nor
controlled by waves of emotion.
