I lay awake
and think of you.
I think of your eyes,
your smile,
your laugh.
i think of the way you looked at me
when it was late at night.

I lay awake
and miss you.
I miss hearing your voice,
feeling your touch.
I miss everything about you.

Until the day I may leave here
I shall lay awake,
thinking of you
and missing you.
