As I contemplate the stars in this velvet sky,
Another tear rolls from my tear filled eye,
Reflecting the misery of my pain filled life,
So hurtful, so sad like a stab from a knife,

Yes these tears blanket the sorrow at present,
To reminisce of a time love to each other was sent,
A time of beauty, a time joy, laughter and love,
A time when I was so in love with you my angel above,

You used to soothe my heart like the heaven’s breeze,
Made me brave enough to conquer the seven seas,
I had no worries, I had feared nothing but losing you,
A shame it is that my worries are coming true,

As time passes the further we get, the weaker my heart,
I love you with all my heart, i pray we will never truly part,
I pray that you are not blinded by this cruel world,
I pray that you will someday you will give in and be my girl,

I hope you can see the tears and love before this mask I hide,
And I hope to me one day you god will decide to guide,
Though far I may be in a once land of the Dutch,
I just want you to know that I miss you so much.
