I - Have - Incurable - Cancer Poem by Dr. Antony Theodore

I - Have - Incurable - Cancer

Rating: 5.0

A good friend wrote to me:
I have incurable cancer.
It's a hell of a thing
knowing your clock
is clicking towards zero.

Just a matter of when.
Keeping mentally
straight is the toughest part.

I am fighting the toughest
battle of mylife.
Be with me all the way
till I die and remember me.
I firmly believe in
an after life.

I am sorry for my
atheistic beliefs
as a young college student.

Sure, there is a supreme
being and He exists.
I want all of my friends
to be sure of it.

A deeply poignant poem. To firmly believe in an after life and the existence of the One Above will make us brave enough to face whatever fate we have.
