I Have A Problem Poem by Jonathan Goldman a.k.a JGthepoet

I have a problem now, you see,
For poetry.com have written to me,
To write for them a poem, unseen by you,
For inclusion in a book of a Selected Few,
To be published in Two Thousand and Six,
My, how the time does pass so quick ~
Entitled “ The Best Poems and Poets of 2005”
Provided I am still alive.

What is my problem, you do ask?
Before I begin my allotted task,
Not one, but two poems have I to write,
To put in their Volume so bright,
For I have received two requests,
One to me as ~ Jonathan,
The other as ~ Yisroel Yonatan,
For under both names, Poems I write,
To post on to the poets.com site.
As ‘jgthepoet’ I am known,
And a ‘National Poet Laureate’ have I become.

“Do I write two poems? ” I do ask,
“Why not? ” say I, and finish the task.
Legitimate Names they are of mine,
And Guaranteed Publication is a Goldmine.
