enthusiasm
such a dreadful feeling
such a long ago emotion,
back in the day of park swings
and monkey bars
where the moon was
just beyond your finger tips

happiness
feeling loved...
back when everyong cared,
this was no treat.
it was reality.
where has this gone?
where has all the love
and all the acceptance
and all the happy families,
disappeared to?
to the time before loneliness and rejection?
when the other end of the universe
was across the road.
