I Feel Better For Sharing Poem by Karin Holloway

I Feel Better For Sharing

I feel better for sharing with my friends
Lorri, thank you
for just listening again.
It's always the same problem.
Independence
Dependence
Such long words
They cover a lot.
My mother says 'viva life! '
And lives the same shallow life
Shadow life
Behind a man.
This is a complex puzzle -
The kind you save for the last.
It's lust - all this for
pumping blood and
constant daydream.
Which is reality? Are there
a plurality of realities?
I sense them.
- A pot of tea
just for me.
