I dreamt a kiss
One that never was
I dreamt a kiss
One that will never be
I dreamt that in a sweet caress of your lips
I suddenly found serenity
I dreamt a kiss
A result of walls breaking
In a flash, a torrent of
Emotion
Overwhelming
Brought two minds together
And the sum of this cataclysm
A tender loving kiss

I dreamt a kiss
Like any other we used to share
But a kiss I'll never get to give you again.
I dreamt a kiss
That pierced through me
And left me
With longing and regret
Long into my waking hours.

I dreamt of your kiss
That touched my heart.
