I Contend This World Is Not The Final Abode Poem by Mohammad Younus

I Contend This World Is Not The Final Abode

I contend this world is not the final abode;
It will one day be out of my sight;
I'll no longer have to peer into its depths;
Death is sure!
Every soul has to taste the death!
Still even when out of this world...
I won't be able to rest;
I will have to travel on and on;
I am to cross worlds beyond worlds;
I am convinced there is no final destination;
I have already theoretically contemplated...
...that life is a circular journey;
It might go through the hell...
...or through the paradise;
As a matter of fact...
...time and space both are without frontiers;
It is only theoretical to assume...
...that there are frontiers beyond frontiers;
Cheers!
Let's rejoice to know:
We will never perish:
We are!
We were! and
We will be!
