I Carry You Away Poem by Michael Walkerjohn

I Carry You Away

IAM
come
to my one
secret spot; into
this void; all by myself
alone. In that realm, above
the spirit's world. Dark and too
inviting of me, on the edge of solitary
confinement. The place where in refuge; my
soul arises. My soul relaxed? Really? Interesting
indeed! I, float away; to find emptiness again…
A more profound calm drifts, over the essence
of all things. Over all things, rising; the beacon
that all shadows shy away from and hide their
kin and kind. And, I; realize that IAM. Where
we are, and who we are; and just exactly
what we are! The guiding presence, now
present. Shaped of the eternity of love.
Standing in the heavens, face of all
systems suns; and angry. Holding
the "keys", of all life and all love!
As life giving Earth, appears before
my minions! From left hand to all eternity
from my right hand to all eternity. From all
eternity above my face and below my hooves
each holding steady; as the heart, of the heat, of
touch. Oh! My beloved ones! The lights of my life!
You each know this! Of life and body, me; my place
and my "eyes" seek and see each thought. IAM truly
connected to each of you; my children. Become sharp
again, of hearts, minds; and of my essence! Become at
ease again with each rising moon. Become as that moon's
reflecting light; cast on a dare, aware and conceived in my love.
As the bridge, that was promised; is, only the blink of my eyes
away. All of the past transgressions are coming to an end and
will finally fall away from that memory. And I hum, as my eyes
close as I reach out to each of you, and carry you away.
