I cannot wait for you

I cannot wait for you
for another thousand years
for now i have assumed the
butterfly's body and
and its white fragile wings
in another minute can be
blown away by the wind and
then be all torn

at most i can only live and
love you for
only a day.....

Poem of the Day

poet Christina Georgina Rossetti

Where sunless rivers weep
Their waves into the deep,
She sleeps a charmed sleep:
Awake her not.
