I remember the first day
you told me you loved me.
I remember the sadness I felt
when I didn't feel the same.

I remember what it felt like
to run away from you,
after all you'd done for me.
I hate myself for it.

I remember the look in your eye
when you wondered why.
You looked like you could cry,
and now I could die.

I broke your heart.
Is it able to be repaired?
Is there anything I can do?
