I Came To The Sea Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

I Came To The Sea

If i honour myself,
My honour is nothing! !
However, i do write so that, others may laern from my muse as well.

I came to the sea of Lovers and i met you,
So, draw near to me my love;
For, the pleasures of true love is all that i have for you.

The muse of life!
To let the cats out of the bags;
But, i came to the sea and i met you.

The muse of life!
Some will die forever but, others will rise up again to the New Kingdom;
That is why i do not honour myself.

The muse of life!
With poverty bathing many in the land fo the living;
But, i am here to take you up to the land of riches with my sweet love.

The muse of life!
I came to the sea and i met you;
So, come and enjoy the sweet muse of my love.
