I Am Your Father Poem by Ahyela Andojar

I Am Your Father

Tears in my eyes, joy in my heart
Heaven at my sight
A pinkish cheeks delight
A nose sprouted light
A smile that humbles me
I’m freed from misery.

All feels right
By holding you not tight
For all the fear and fights
Life now is not a flight.
Each moment to enjoy,
All strength I will deploy.

You’re not a piece to cherish
But everything I wishes
I know what sacrifice is-
When the sun ray is glazed
And rain pours pain
Reality or dream -

I am your father.
