I Am With You God Poem by Abhay Advait

I Am With You God

When I see someone going mad for his dreams
With doing best to attain them, but frustrating most for want of luck
Looking into his eyes in which I find you sad and reject from your very self
I just cannot resist but to say, “Oh, God, don’t feel alone, I am with You.

When I see a pure woman waiting for her love
With submitting herself nascent, lover buys her body, leaving the essence untouched
Confronting her in the streets of relations, with her life tired but soul still fresh
I just cannot resist but to say, “Oh God, don’t curse love, I am with You.

When I see an old man in the winter night shivering more from the coldness of life
With so much enthusiasm to began life, but none to support now those weaker limbs
Touching his cold hands with the warmth of my youth, I find you quack with your own game
I just cannot resist but to say, “Oh God, don’t expect others, I am with You.

When I see a small child begging on road, for bread both as breakfast and lunch
With those eyes twinkling and expecting that the waste thrown contains some worth
Calling her with a sign to collect my garbage also, I found you begging from your own treasure the worst
I just cannot resist but to say, “Oh God, don’t take yourself so low, I am with You.

Oh God who says you made the creation, when for me you are the very Creation
In the eyes of the man, pity of the woman, touch of that old man and want of that child
For me you are the One, enduring pain, strife, cry and wound, in those multiple life
I just cannot resist but to say, “Oh God, this creation is your manifestation, I also exists not without you.
