I will be waiting still
for you to come,
you ways to fulfill
you promised some.
I am still here
waiting and waiting,
going to nowhere
though links are fading.

You did me wrong
but I do forgive,
I'll go on strong
in my reason to live.
Nothing gets away
it's here all around,
days and through day
feelings are found.

Promises will go
and shades fall on,
beats get on slow
'till its tone is gone.
I am still here
rising my wings,
to fly and adhere
what my heart sings.
