Did you actually speak those words last night?
I think so; I think I heard you.
I know you said it.
What I did not know however,
Is that if I would live
To see a day when "I am sorry"
Would become musical to my ear from you.
But what proof do we have that you're sorry?

I pray thee; show me you are sorry,
