I Am Not An Egotist



I'm not an egotist,
Like the speaker,
In "Song of Myself",
I'd rather be a transcendentalist.

I'd like to be taught,
By Mother Nature,
Since this is the best way,
To nurture each thought.

But when it comes to your love,
I forget the words above!
