I Am Moving On Poem by Mishack Mchunu

I Am Moving On

Fountain of my blood
In the midst of my belly, with a scarlet pearl
Like a precarious ocean, blew a flood
That hurts to soon heal,

Light of my sight
How lost are you in summer’s time?
As the world wears the night
Wink a sign of homecoming with happiness being your prime,

Oh! Temple of my lonely soul
Move me to a place
Where love is as pure as snow
With chaste wench to embrace,

Fade the sorrow that hinders my tomorrow
Slew this rejection to be a new direction!
