I Am Me



I am me
An individual
With my own thoughts
And my own mistakes.

You tell me
What you think
I should do
And
What you think
I should think

But
I have a brain
I can think for myself
And I have a body
So
I can do for myself

I have goals
That I’ve set

I have a life
That I love

And

I’m not
Going to let
Anyone else
Run it.
