I Am Like You
I am like you.
Born i am into planet earth
for a reason.
For that reason
i am still here.
I am like you.
To make my own path
or follow theirs
To break a heart or help
mend a broken heart.
I am like you.
Most times i bed the night
without meal.
Sometimes i Live through
the day on hunger strike.
I am like you.
I cry and sometimes
i smile.
There are so many
unresolved issue on my mind.
I am like you.
With all this, i live.
Disappointment and pain.
Ache and shame, yet with
all this, i live.
I am like you.
I face trial, think of sucide.
Most times i fail.
I have failed uncountable
times.
I am like you
When you think you're alone,
you are not.
There are many, so many
people like you.
