I am lost and so confused
when I'm standing by your side.
I am whole and I am broken
by the smile you can't hide.
I am warm and I am tingly
as your fingers touch my skin.
I feel chills run down my spine
as I'm bathing in your sin.
I am calm and I am quiet
as I watch you from the dark.
I am loud and I am frazzled
as you try and make your mark.
I am nothing in this something
standing tall against the sky.
I am dreaming up my fantasy
through the clouds I learn to fly.
I am love and I am kindness
that you just don't seem to see.
I am hate and I'm frustration
as you turn away from me.
I am the whisper through the trees
that you never seem to hear.
I am the rain clouds that are haunting
each dropp a single tear.
I am lost and I'm so lonely
when you are in my mind.
I am full and I am empty
and myself I just can't find.
