Hyacinth Poem by Susan Lacovara

Hyacinth

Rating: 5.0

Holding on to the float of it's fragrance

Yellow trumpets heralding Spring's entrance

Asking only for the kiss of morning dew

Climbing from the last weeks of winter stall

Innocence unveiled and uninterrupted

Nudging the heart towards the warm up of romance

Tempting the senses to stir and surrender

Holding on to the float of it's fragrance

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
(03/31/19)Enjoying the swirl of Springtime flowers, the Hyacinth, potted and positioned on my table, as I type. Refreshing a poet's spirit and alerting my senses to beauty.

Holding on to the float of it's fragrance flowers spread beauty of mercy of God and greet every human being. Innocence is unveiled during beauty's mood. This is an excellent poem shared here.10
