Hurt Poem by Payyton Egerstaffer

Hurt

The look on her face gave every thing away
She was to scared to say the things she wanted to say
She told them what she hoped was a lie
She couldn’t even pretend when they asked why.
They looked at her strange and said hurtful things
She’ll never forget what they said no matter what tomorrow brings
