Hunger Poem by Bieze Josphat

Hunger

My stomach growls
Like a ploughing tractor.
My lips crack
Like clay on a sunny day.
My saliva so thick
Like that of a drunkard.
My tongue so hard
Like dry hide.
My bones protrude
Like spikes of a porcupine.
My skin pale and wrinkled
Like one with leprosy.
My eyes fading
Like smouldering coal.
My heart beating
Like a wet drum.
HUNGER, stealing life from me.

Good way to describe hunger. Hunger is bad news. Hope this is just a poem and not an SOS
