Howling At The Moon Rap Poem by keith brown

Howling At The Moon Rap

Started long ago, back in 83
Watching to much violence on that colour tv.
Then he went to school had to make it with the kids
Mama papa never kept an eye on what he did.
Mama said to papa the boys full grown daddy he's a man he make it on his own
Papa said to mama well you spoke to soon cause the boys out the back an he's

Howling at the moon

Someone's gotta tell them the boys not right
Been sleeping through the day and staying up all night
Now the sherif gonna get Him cause he's been real bad
People gonna say look at chances that he had
Could have been a doctor, a lawyer or a nurse.
But! He just keeps on howling his conditions getting worse

Now he's talking to the judge and he's gonna make a plea
Just keeps blaming all that violence on that colour tv
The judge he said

"what you did ain't right"

"Youcan't blame the drinking and staying out all night"

So they put him in a cell but he's out real soon
Cause he tells them he's just crazy. He Keeps on

Howling at the moon

Mama said to Papa the boy's full grown Daddy he's a man, he can make it on his own
Papa said to Mama well you spoke to soon, cause the boys out the back he's

Howling
