How the colour of a rose changed my life forever
It came when we chanced a meeting together
With a twist of time, and fate was involved, however
Somehow it turned into an amazing romance endeavor

For this delicate rose was as blue as blue azure
Bluer than the heavenly sky in its bluest measure
Hidden deep within the rose was a lover’s treasure
Kept out of sight and compromised without leisure

The rose had seen a life of happiness distraught
And the rose went to ground without a thought
And the hardest of lessons this rose was taught
Until the colour was dimmed more than it ought

A ray of light then found a petal to alight with glow
And there was hope that this rose’s love could grow
Hiding in the beauty within, was something to know
The rose had less than a lifetime of loving to go

My love poured out as if there was no time left n
Ever to see such beauty again, my heart was bereft
Before you shone into my world, there was no quest
I felt my love had come to an end with nothing left

As what you have given me is a kiss from this rose.
On top of the world, as I am the one that you chose
When in your grace, my heart skips beats in throes
And I find a place in darkness where light easily grows

Love only comes once; to those that choose to wait
The time together we have left I can only anticipate
As blackness inside that’s eating away does escalate
For it knows not any better, or how to discriminate

You are the want of every man's eyes so divine
Smiling at me, I’m shocked that you are mine
Because a perfect blue Rose like you is hard to find
Melded in body, through space that’s between us in mind

No matter what I do from this pensive moment on
Nothing left in the world will break our perfect bond
And I will persist in my quest to show just how fond,
I am of my gorgeous blue rose with beauty beyond

There are many things in this world that man knows
But not this blackness, even with science dressed in robes
So for you I will give you a very special kiss to my rose,
And know that I'll love you forever as time comes to a close…..
