How Many Poem by Anna Osipova

How Many

Rating: 3.5

How many bubbles in a bath?
Enough to cover both of us,
Enough to take the stress away,
To end the long and tangled day.

How many drops in glass of wine?
Enough to sooth the heart and mind,
Enough to lead the thoughts astray
And make the body light and gay.

How many stars in sky above?
Enough for everyone who loves,
Enough for spacemen to explore,
Enough for poets to adore.

How many words in books and speech?
Enough to pray and to beseech,
Enough to praise and criticize,
Enough to tell the truths and lies.

So many bubbles, stars and drops,
So many words in our world…
And still all this is not enough
To tell you all about my love…
