Housefire Panic Attacks Poem by Evey Vendetta

Housefire Panic Attacks

I sit in this darkened room
Scared and alone
My mind is racing
My body shaking
I think of the smoke
The almost flames
The animals trapped inside
Hoping there all still alive

It's all surreal when the sirens sound
And fill our street all the way down
My mother crying
The nabiors all around
Egg white snow falls to the ground

The smoke is gone
Everything is ok
For everyone but me
