Hope Poem by iqra hassan

Hope

Customs, rituals, symbols are just bondage of souls,
I urge you to break free! Leave the mending of holes,
For the holes you keep mending actually allow you to breathe,
The nightmares that scare you, make you strong beneath,
You are a free soul, I don't see any cage,
For all the turmoil you face, ultimate bliss is the wage,
Every circle has a beginning, so has it an end,
Break the turbulent flow, follow your heart's bend,
Many a flowers blooming, rainbow butterflies have seen,
Right after every autumn, always spring has been,
What might appear arrogance, I saw an inkling of spleen,
Beneath the ugly layers, tinge of divinity I have seen!
You are ignoring the light while in the darkness you grope,
Meanwhile, I live in a house in the street of hope!
Everyday is a new sun, new me, new you,
Don't be a stagnant soul, see new horizon's hue!
I am here to save your heart, no matter how fragile,
Kindle a little hope in you, let your eyes smile!
No matter how beaten, you still can breathe and talk,
If you take the umbrella of faith, it ‘ll surely rain as you walk,
Your soul will be deluged, with all the peace you want,
All you need is ask! The beloved knows how to grant..
