HOPE
Hope is watching the sun rise
A new day dawning
The smell of a newborn
Snuggled in his mother’s arms
Hope is Spring time
When flowers bloom
And the pitter patter of raindrops
On the parched desert planes
********************
Hope is the taste of rice
To a starving child
Hope is the touch of a hand
When you have lost your way
Hope is a candle in the dark
The sweet smell of a rose
A shooting star
*****************
Hope is a lighthouse
For ships at sea
Hope is your friends
And your family
