You slit through my plaid window.
You smiled your rays somehow.
I peeped through my swollen eyes,
And my happiness respires.
You are my joy everyday!
The sweet sight of joyful grace.
You are the light of my face,
You are the glory of God!
You woke me up from my sleep,
Even though their noise disturb.
You woke me up to duty,
As you laid life in beauty.
Morning light, my morning sun!
The joys of every bird’s song.
The rise of flowers at spring.
Honour to the golden king!
