Honour Killings Poem by Anirudh Induchudan Anirudh Induchudan

Honour Killings

they do it in the name of honour
whose honour?
i dont understand
the honour of humanity?
if so, i cannot stop laughing
i am helpless.

two bodies lay in a blood pool
love was the crime they did.
a man and a woman
they didnot belong to same caste, they say so.
when they loved they didnot bother about it.
only thing they knew was that they are human beings.

where is our law?
where is our government?
is anybody hearing?
are there nobody to prevent these henious crimes?
