Honey Bee Poem by Charl JF Cilliers

Honey Bee

Honey bee hanging,
drop of sun-
splashed water,
from a stem
hugged and tugged
into a furring haze

caterpillar drops to
arthritic contortions
on cold shade stone

dung beetle drums
across gravel

from the tensile
stem the heavy droplet
falls up into the air.
