RIC S. BASTASA

HONESTLY

Something in me
wants to go back
and want once more
to hear the sound of
your laughter

i want to imitate
what it really is
i want to show this
place where i come
from
i want to show you
now how disfigured
is my mouth
how this system
has done badly
for all the child in us.
