Home Sweet Home Poem by Joyce Hemsley

Home Sweet Home

Rating: 5.0

Play that old familiar music
And hammer out the sound.
The military boys are coming home
Pass the magical words around.

Bring forth the drums and tambourines
Create a very merry jingle!
Loving hearts will meet again
Setting dancing toes a-tingle.

We will sing like Vera Lynn
In World War Two joyous tone.
May the bells of history ring
To welcome our dear soldiers home.
