Something is missing from down inside me,
Something that nobody else can see.
A secret inside that is all of my own,
Born of the time when you left me alone.

My soul has a secret, it lies at your feet,
For you are the reason it's incomplete.
My soulmate-my friend-it was yours to control;
When you took love away, you left a hole.

No longer complete, no longer the same,
I look to myself for someone to blame.
No one to blame, but love took its toll,
And left me alone with a hole in my soul.
