Hold On/Faith Poem by Manuel Hutchinson

Hold On/Faith

Grasp the tail of life
Holding on to pain well spent
Tears and worst fears came true
Feeling of struggle, snuggled on a cold shoulder.
Trapped in this world and it's felt, to no help.
I'm on the edge of my faith
Taking a chance of what's never been my fate.
It's just the worst to come.
Broken promises, put me at the end of the list
Overcame the feat but
I'm still walking on glass with no shoes on my feet.
What's real? Who's fake?
Life taught me the chances I have to take.
Decisions, Decisions, to make.
Pain, is still in my faith.
So I got to hold on.
