Hold Me Poem by Jerome Brooke

Hold Me

Warrior mine, man of the North,
Hold me.
Kiss my hand once more, man in mail.
Slay my heart.

Come with me, flowers bloom,
in the forest.
Why do you leave? The air is still.
The fruit is sweet.
